About the Role

As a Rehabilitation Specialist in Vocational Counselling, you will be working with clients to explore their career goals and aspirations. You will utilise various techniques and tools to identify strengths and abilities, as well as areas of challenge and need.

You will work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to develop a tailored support plan that meets their unique needs and goals. This may involve providing vocational assessments, coaching, and guidance to help individuals build capacity and confidence in their career pursuits.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in vocational rehabilitation or occupational rehabilitation insurance schemes, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who is committed to collaboration and consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vocational assessments and counselling services
  • Developing and implementing individualised support plans
  • Collaborating with clients, families, and other stakeholders
  • Providing coaching and guidance to build client capacity and confidence

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Developmental Education
  • Experience working in vocational rehabilitation or occupational rehabilitation insurance schemes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
