Schools Grounds and Facilities Officer

This is an OO2 progression position as per the Role Description.

The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met.

As a Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities, you will contribute to the efficient operation of the school by providing high-quality grounds and facilities management. You will perform various activities to ensure that the school is well-maintained, follow instructions, and exercise independence in performing routine tasks.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- Maintaining grounds and facilities to a high standard
- Conducting minor repairs and maintenance (excluding tasks requiring qualified tradespeople)
- Waste Management
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety guidelines
- Liaising with internal and external personnel on repair and maintenance issues
- Performing various tasks required by the administration team
