Job Description:
This internship provides a unique opportunity to work closely with our trading team, using superior processes, data, and intuition to forecast the first, second, and third moments of a security's price distribution around thematic and idiosyncratic events. As a junior market strategist, you will refine forecasts into actionable trade ideas, collaborate with senior team members, and network with peers throughout the internship.

Your Objectives:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of a sector or industry, as well as a broad base understanding of financial markets.
  • Identify pricing inefficiencies and collaborate with traders to monetize predictions.
  • Discover new sources of data and transform unstructured data sets into signals.
  • Owning the information space within large-cap tech, monitor trends in the marketplace.
  • Employ a holistic approach to predicting distribution of outcomes and making volatility predictions.

Your Skills & Talents:
  • A strong academic background from a top school.
  • A passion for financial markets and a desire to learn about the fundamentals that drive them.
  • The ability to think systematically and quantitatively, as well as dealing with uncertainty in a logical and consistent approach.
  • Intermediate experience with programming, especially Python, is preferred but not required.
