Northern Territory Social Services Leadership Position

Our client, a well-respected Community Services Organisation is currently recruiting experienced and Qualified Social workers and Team Leaders for Positions with their Children and Family Services across the Northern Territory.
You will be leading and supervising a team of professional staff in the delivery of welfare services to individuals, groups and communities in accord with relevant legislation, and Department's policies and procedures. It is essential that applicants are in possession of tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Psychology and are eligible for membership of their respective Professional Associations.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise and best practice in the delivery of statutory and non-statutory welfare services. To achieve this, you must possess:
- A Tertiary qualification in social work or Psychology and eligibility for membership of The Australian Association of Social Workers or The Australian Psychological Society.
- Leadership experience in a welfare /Community Services Environment.
- Sound understanding of supervision principles and functions in a Statutory and welfare setting.
- Ability to communicate complex issues effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Other requirements include being able to commute or relocate to Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs - Australia, having a full driving licence, obtaining a National Police Clearance Certificate, Working with Children Check, and possessing a sound organisational and communication skills set.
