Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager - Front Office Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to lead our Front Office team at Mercure Penrith. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, including supervising staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Front Office team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a Front Office or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and leadership skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
