A prominent project in Sydney Metro West has been awarded to a leading consortium.

We are seeking an experienced Environment Lead to spearhead the development and implementation of the project's sustainability strategy, encompassing strategy, planning, reporting, and environmental initiatives.

About the Role

As the Environment Lead, you will be responsible for driving key outcomes across carbon reduction, innovation, and value creation. You will play a pivotal role in achieving a top IS As-Built rating and embedding sustainability throughout all project phases.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing the Sustainability Strategy and Sustainability Management Plan.
    • Leading and mentoring the sustainability team.
      • Collaborating with design, construction, and commercial teams to enhance carbon literacy and champion sustainability outcomes.
        • Ensuring the successful integration and delivery of the sustainability strategy, assessments, and initiatives.
          • Reporting performance against project sustainability objectives, targets, and overall strategy.
            • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
            • Responsible for implementing the Community Benefit Program, ensuring positive social outcomes aligned with project goals.
              • Taking ownership of sustainability outcomes, focusing on decarbonization, cost efficiency, and net positive social and environmental impacts.
