We are seeking a skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting environmental protection and enhancement while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental controls to minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborate with the construction team to identify and address environmental issues.
- Conduct regular environmental monitoring, including erosion and sediment control inspections, water sampling, and dust monitoring.
- Design and manage Construction Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, as well as Noise and Vibration Management Plans.
- Oversee environmental contractors and suppliers, ensuring effective management of waste, equipment, and monitoring services.
- Assist in responding to environmental compliance breaches and contribute to reports and investigations.
- Support training initiatives and foster environmental innovations.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental sustainability within construction or engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or conservation biology.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
