Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to lead cutting-edge warehouse and logistics automation projects focusing on automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyors, racking, and robotics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project from design to installation, commissioning, and testing, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure project completion within scope, time, and budget parameters
  • Manage project reporting, schedules, revenue collection, and cash flow planning
  • Resourcing and staff planning, including coordination of subcontractors
  • Onsite management of subcontractors and project team members
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships to understand their needs and provide recommendations based on their business and operational environments
  • Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders at each stage of the project life cycle
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in engineering, project management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing large-scale construction and/or installation projects
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency in financial controlling software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to travel extensively across Melbourne and interstate
