Operations Finance Business Partner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Finance Business Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in process manufacturing environments, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to work successfully in a team environment.

The Operations Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the Finance, Manufacturing Procurement and Logistics (MP&L) and Manufacturing Operations teams through analysis of data to drive efficiency and continuous improvement of operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Quarterly Standard Cost Setting Process: Own and manage the quarterly standard cost setting process to ensure accurate and up-to-date costs.
  • Cyclical & Annual Stocktaking: Co-ordinate cyclical & annual stocktaking of WIP and finished inventory, providing analysis of results and developing action plans to improve inventory management.
  • Inventory Control Processes: Work cross-functionally to strengthen and embed inventory control processes in business SOPs and via utilisation of systems to improve efficiency.
  • Scrap Reporting: Enable and develop scrap reporting with a cost reduction focus to identify areas for improvement.
  • Finance Support: Provide finance support and progress tracking for direct cost reductions initiatives to achieve targets.
  • Inventory Optimisation: Identify inventory optimisation opportunities to reduce working capital needs and improve overall efficiency.
  • Wheel Build Process Oversight: Oversee the wheel build process and error correction to ensure high-quality products.
  • Monthly Operational Performance Analysis: Develop and distribute monthly operational performance analysis and provide commentary to key business stakeholders.
  • Weekly Labour and Hours per Wheel Reporting: Report weekly labour and hours per wheel to monitor productivity and efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in process manufacturing environments or automotive manufacturing environments.
  • Supply chain experience desirable.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • PowerBI experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
