About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team at the Residential Care Home in Waikerie. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide support with feeding and mobility, including the use of mechanical aids
  • Contribute to resident assessment and documentation, identifying diversional therapy needs and opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver holistic, client-centered care
Requirements
  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
  • Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled persons
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
