About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Community Kids Enoggera. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 74 children each day.

This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a focus on providing excellent care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook meals and snacks for children, following our menu planning and dietary guidelines
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to relevant food safety regulations
* Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory
* Collaborate with our team to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation

Requirements

* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
* Experience in a cook role, preferably in an early childhood setting
* Current Working with Children's Check or equivalent
* First Aid certification
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
