Job Title: LOTE Teacher - Leongatha Campus

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified LOTE Teacher to join our team at Chairo Christian School's Leongatha campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the curriculum to Prep to Year 8 students in a language of their choice, with a preference for French or Indonesian.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Learning: Deliver the curriculum in a manner consistent with the guidelines and policies set by the school board and leadership team, and from a Christian worldview perspective.
• Classroom Environment: Foster a safe and caring environment for all students while endeavouring to role model the love of Jesus Christ to all.
• Assessment and Feedback: Effectively assess student performance and provide feedback in an encouraging and confidence-building manner.
• Planning and Organisation: Plan and carry out daily activities to fulfil the objectives of the school's educational policies and mission statement.
• Relationship Building: Build relationships with students and parents in a manner that establishes a partnering approach to learning.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in education and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Experience: Experience teaching a language other than English.
• Christian Worldview: Sound knowledge of teaching from a Christian worldview perspective.
• Teaching Strategies: Ability to utilise a range of teaching strategies as may be relevant.
• Communication: Ability to build strong partnering relationships and communication channels with students and parents.
