Job Description

The Learning Support Teacher will work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy. This role is designed to support students with diverse needs in a co-educational Catholic secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
• Demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach across any Key Learning Area (KLA) suitable
• Utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
• Employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
• Support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
• Integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences

Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Education
• Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
