Senior Acoustic Consultant Role Overview

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a highly ambitious individual to join our team as a Senior Acoustic Consultant.

The position is a full-time engagement that offers the chance to collaborate with leading experts in a global firm without leaving the city.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across APAC, including environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modelling, numerical analysis of results and associated reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carrying out technical tasks that require accuracy in calculations, data analysis, modeling, and design, which include manipulating and managing large data sets.
  2. Working on various projects, including environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, 3D computer noise modeling, numerical analysis of results and associated reporting.
  3. Mentoring or guiding junior-level staff.
  4. Developing business development skills to bring influence to the breadth and range of projects the team works on – with support from senior team members as needed.

Role Requirements:

  1. A relevant bachelor's degree (ideally mechanical or electrical engineering, environmental engineering, or science).
  2. Ideal experience within a consulting environment, preferably 4-8 years.
  3. Coding, GIS, noise monitoring, and prediction capability and experience would be favorable.
  4. Experience and high competency with noise monitoring equipment and/or 3D computer noise models (SoundPLAN, CadnaA etc.) is essential.
  5. The ability to be self-sufficient and build on your business development skill set.
  6. A proven record of high-level project delivery will be advantageous to your application.
