Senior Concrete Laboratory Supervisor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Concrete Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our concrete products.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years' experience in concrete testing, concrete properties, and sample preparation.

  • Supervise and conduct concrete testing in accordance with Australian Standards, NATA, and established lab procedures.
  • Maintain and update concrete testing records and ensure daily data entry of test results.
  • Plan, prepare, and carry out daily concrete lab activities and testing schedule, providing instructions to the lab team.
  • Assist the Technical Manager in testing and development work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee and manage the daily operations of the laboratory, including supervising laboratory technicians and conducting quality control checks.
  • To develop and implement new testing protocols and procedures as required.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering or Materials Science, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a laboratory setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of laboratory technicians.
