As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will provide exceptional application, field, and technical support to customers. Your goal is to make the world healthier, safer, and more balanced.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all work and activities are conducted with safety as a top priority, identifying potential safety issues within Emerson and our customer organizations.
  • Executing planned service activities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborating with ANZ, Asia Pacific, and Global teams to develop solutions and support Emerson Flow Solutions customers.
  • Responding to technical and commercial inquiries from customers, providing product demonstrations, quotations, and proposals.
  • Conducting training sessions, sales calls, site walks, audits, and roadshows.
  • Analyzing and researching customer bases, staying informed about market changes, competitors, technology, and industry developments.
  • Maintaining and developing technical expertise, focusing on Technologies and Applications.
  • Developing technical notes, service, sales, and applications tools to aid the business.
  • Building customer confidence through excellent service.
  • Aiding the technical development of the Emerson Solutions Sales and Marketing team.
  • Staying up-to-date with product lines through personal initiatives and company-sponsored training.
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting.

You will be working with a tertiary engineering or technical qualification in instrumentation, process, or automation fields. Experience in developing demand, crafting trusted advisor relationships, and delivering value messaging for highly technical products, services, and solutions is essential.

The preferred qualifications that set you apart include fault finding and diagnostic skills for Rosemount instrumentation technologies, as well as a current Restricted Electrical Work License.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Our compensation and benefits programs are designed to be competitive within the industry and local labor markets.
