Job Description

The Associate Director of Immunisation Policy Support will provide high-level leadership, oversee the management and technical expertise for the Policy Support & Guideline Development program area within a national centre for immunisation research.

This role involves key stakeholder engagement with government departments and advisory groups at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management for the Policy Support & Guideline Development program area.
  • Develop and implement policies and guidelines related to immunisation.
  • Conduct critical analysis of scientific evidence to inform policy decisions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve organisational goals.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in public health or similar and/or extensive experience (>15 years) in immunisation policy development research and surveillance.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams in a complex public health environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of immunisation practices, policies, guideline development, and relevant research methodologies.
