About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join our Perioperative department at Knox Private Hospital.
As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for assisting with surgical preparations, maintaining a clean and organized theatre environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our perioperative suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of surgical/instrument set ups for theatre lists
- Cleaning and inventory duties
- Liasing with theatre team to keep across add on or modification cases
- Ensure consumable stock is rotated and date checked
- Putting away sterilised equipment
Requirements
- Prior experience with working in an operating theatre (desired)
- Ability to work part of a team
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work Monday – Friday 09:30am – 5:30pm
- AHPRA registered
