About the Job

We are currently seeking a Process and Maintenance Technician to join our team in Port Hedland, WA.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our facilities, including the operation of diaphragm and mono pumps to transfer bulk liquids, treatment of water with chemical reagents, and use of lab-based equipment for liquid analysis.

You will also be involved in dangerous goods manifesting, sample taking and associated analysis paperwork, management of sludge removal from tanks, separation of moisture from oil and oil from water, and working with engineering and technical teams to achieve processing and product goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate diaphragm and mono pumps to transfer bulk liquids
  • Treat water with chemical reagents
  • Use lab-based equipment for liquid analysis
  • Manifest dangerous goods
  • Take samples and complete associated analysis paperwork
  • Manage sludge removal from tanks
  • Separate moisture from oil and oil from water
  • Work with engineering and technical teams to achieve processing and product goals
