We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our community through emergency response and disaster management.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency incidents and provide fire and rescue services to the community.
- Participate in regular drills and training sessions to maintain and develop your skills and competencies.
- Contribute to community education and awareness programs to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of station facilities and equipment.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status.
- Manual C Class driver's licence.
- Ability to commit to attending 50% of emergency incidents as a day worker or 30% as a shift worker.
- Ability to attend 75% of regular drill and training sessions.
As an Auxiliary Firefighter with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and competencies in emergency response and disaster management. You will also be part of a dynamic and supportive team that is committed to making a difference in our community.
