We are seeking a skilled Fire Response Specialist to join our team at the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be responding to emergency incidents and working in challenging environments.

  • The estimated salary for this role is AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

The Fire Response Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Responding to emergency incidents, including fires and other hazards;
  • Promoting fire safety awareness within their local community;
  • Participating in regular training exercises to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond effectively in emergency situations;
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents and responses;
  • Providing support to colleagues and the broader community during emergency events.

Key Requirements

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency;
  • A current C Class driver's license;
  • High school certificate or equivalent;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies as needed;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Physical fitness to perform duties in a variety of weather conditions.
