We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive assurance and oversight in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will lead structured assurance reviews, develop risk-based plans, and provide insightful reports to contribute to the continued uplift in the efficiency and effectiveness of the control environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead structured assurance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Develop and execute against a risk-based assurance plan, focusing on non-financial risk matters.
  • Provide clear and actionable recommendations to management and board committees.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in assurance, with a focus on developing and executing against an assurance plan.
  • Extensive experience in operational and compliance roles, preferably in banking or professional services firms.
  • Technical knowledge of non-financial risk disciplines, including operational risk, compliance, business continuity, policy, framework, project risk, operational resilience, and IT/data risk.
  • Ability to develop commercially viable solutions and implement them effectively.
  • Proven project management and change management expertise.
  • Experience in reviewing complex risk issues and root cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, law, finance, risk, compliance, statistics, or technology-related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CPA, CIA, CA, FRM, or other dedicated audit or risk certifications.
