Catholic Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Spiritual Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our pastoral care team, you will provide spiritual support and care to our residents and clients, ensuring their cultural and spiritual wellbeing is maintained.
About the Role:
- Deliver personalized spiritual support and care services to residents and clients, aligning with their preferences and Catholic Healthcare's Mission.
- Support mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home.
- Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care.
- Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members.
- Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
