About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our Mineral & Metals Project Execution Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, driving activities to meet those schedules, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams based in different countries
  • Work closely with Project and Construction Directors/Managers to ensure all deliverables and activities are tracked to required timelines
  • Drive desired outcomes, challenge project team leaders, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure efficiencies and smooth execution of projects
  • Review and audit projects to ensure continued compliance and validity of schedules
  • Provide input for adjustment and correction to deficient schedules
  • Review and create training materials, and provide training as required
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Review and create procedures to ensure cross-platform communication to other systems used by Ausenco
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in project scheduling within the EPC/EPCM industry
  • Self-motivation with ability to work under pressure and autonomously
  • Excellent reporting on project progress and schedule performance
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project), PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility to adjust schedules and priorities as needed
  • Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
