Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to oversee the design and development of technical solutions within a team. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership and mentorship skills, and the ability to foster productive team dynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to support solution discovery and ensure solutions meet customer and business needs.
  • Identify gaps in technical capability and work with architects and others to resolve these.
  • Align technical solutions to customer and business needs, and advocate and support Agile ways of working.
  • Remove impediments and distractions to optimize team performance and promote best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and fix technical problems, and continuously learn and develop yourself and others.
  • Design and develop efficient, testable, and maintainable solutions, and ensure solutions meet customer and business needs.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years professional experience in a senior software engineering role, with a Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and processes, and strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and practices.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to hit the ground running, and to build and maintain constructive working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent adaptive team leadership capabilities, including the ability to foster productive team dynamics, engage and enable teams, and coach for performance.
  • Strong Technical Expertise, including cloud development experience with Serverless and/or containers, and successfully delivered projects in this space using modern web development frameworks like React (or similar JSX component-based libraries).
  • Familiarity with eCommerce, checkout, and order fulfillment processes, and experience with observability platforms and data-driven development practices.
