Urgent Care Nurse Job Opportunity

Central Coast Region Practice nurses are sought after to join our growing healthcare team. We require an experienced EN/EEN/RN with a clinical background in Urgent Care Nursing.

This is a dynamic role that demands strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in our environment.

  • Identify suitable patients for our Urgent Care Clinic and promptly triage them.
  • Provide front-line care while working alongside General Practitioners and Doctors.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and implement nursing interventions with a commitment to quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in an Urgent Care Setting.
  • Offer healthcare-related education to patients as needed.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.
Requirements:
  • Current authority to practice as EN/EEN/RN with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience in urgent care nursing or high dependency care environment (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Current CPR or ALS certificate.
  • Effective clinical communication skills, including proficiency with information technology.
  • Ability to work autonomously and delegate when required.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Onsite parking available.
  • Flexible working hours, including AM & PM shifts, with availability to cover sick and annual leave.
  • Immediate start available for the right candidate.
