Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated national logistics manager to lead our distribution network across the plant and fruit supply chains.

This role will oversee a national team of regional logistics managers and drive the execution of strategic distribution initiatives, ensuring compliance with QA standards, regulatory requirements, and retailer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support regional managers to ensure smooth operations across all DCs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the distribution network supports the broader plant and supply chain strategy.
  • Provide operational and strategic guidance across the supply chains.
  • Review and enhance distribution network protocols, documentation, and SOPs to disseminate across all DC sites.
  • Ensure DCs meet Heavy Vehicle Regulations and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, timing, and quality.
  • Manage day-to-day people issues and demonstrate role model leadership.
  • Manage and report on P&L performance across the distribution network.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in logistics or related discipline is advantageous.
  • Experience in logistics management including leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining high-performance teams and culture.
  • Exposure to cold chain storage is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to apply a continuous improvement approach.
  • Safety conscious with an understanding of best-practice warehouse safety systems and processes.
  • Ability to travel interstate on a regular basis.
