About The Position

We are seeking an experienced sustainability professional to lead our environmental programs and outcomes. As the Head of Environment, you will be responsible for overseeing our group of farm, feedlot, processing, and corporate facilities. You will provide authoritative advice to senior stakeholders on all environmental matters, including improvement opportunities, compliance, incident response, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor our Environmental Management System.
  • Pursue continuous improvements in the efficiency of energy use, waste management, and water consumption.
  • Lead projects and collaborate with external consultants when necessary.
  • Actively participate in driving initiatives as a key member of our Sustainability Committee.

About You:

  • Proven experience in an environmental leadership role, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing or heavy industry organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including formal report writing experience.
  • A passion for data and high-level data literacy, with experience in collecting environmental data and providing meaningful analysis.
