Position Overview

Firesoft People is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Designer to enhance our technology infrastructure capabilities. This role is pivotal in evaluating, designing, and operationalizing infrastructure solutions that are essential for our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure needs for various business initiatives.
  • Utilize your expertise in IT infrastructure to conduct thorough analyses and develop effective design solutions.
  • Document and strategize the delivery of infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of designs, guaranteeing high-quality outcomes in production environments.
  • Engage with technical experts across various domains, including networking, security, and application services, to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit standards throughout the design and implementation processes.
  • Leverage interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among stakeholders in both technical and project management contexts.
  • Utilize project management tools to streamline workflows and facilitate controlled change management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical design processes, including requirements gathering and implementation planning.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience in supporting project execution.
  • Ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of various IT infrastructure components, including:
    • Operating Systems (RHEL and/or Windows)
    • Networking principles and configurations
    • Virtualization technologies and practices
    • IT security fundamentals

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cloud IaaS/PaaS services such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of application architecture and design principles.
  • Project management experience or relevant certifications.
  • Background in the financial services sector is advantageous.
