Academic Psychologist

The Department of Psychology, Counselling and Therapy is a leading academic unit within the University, undertaking teaching and research across various disciplines.

Our expertise spans multiple areas, including clinical, professional, developmental and social psychology; neuropsychology, cognition and behavioural neuroscience; rehabilitation and mental health counselling; and art and family therapy.

We operate across multiple campuses and locations, offering a range of undergraduate courses and entry to postgraduate practice degree courses.

As a Lecturer in this department, you will develop curriculum, coordinate subjects, teach, assess, support students as they learn, and attend to administrative duties.

You will work with colleagues to deliver an outstanding student experience for students completing undergraduate psychology programs.

To be considered, applicants must have a PhD or Masters degree and demonstrated ability to teach and engage with scholarly work relevant to learning and teaching in psychology.
