We are seeking passionate and qualified educators for Primary and Early Childhood Classroom Teacher roles across a range of schools in permanent or contract positions.

About the Role

As a Primary and Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in Primary and Early Childhood classrooms
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of students
  • Assess and report on student progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to be employed as a teacher in an ACT public school, you must have:

  • Education qualifications – A four-year full-time tertiary education qualification
  • Teacher registration – A valid approval to teach with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)
  • Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration – A valid ACT WWVP
  • Approved working status – Be an Australian citizen and/or be permanent resident and/or hold a valid working visa
