Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Associate to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities and aged care clients who require low-level assistance to live independently in the community.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a collaborative team.

About the Role
  • Provide tailored support services to individual clients, including transportation, accompaniment on shopping trips, home visits, and connecting clients within their community.
  • Deliver services in a caring and professional manner, adhering to industry standards and organisational policies.
  • Foster person-centred care principles when delivering services.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Record and report incidents, changes, goals, needs, achievements, statements, actions, and outcomes in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety policies.

Requirements

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • A First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • The capacity to meet the physical demands of the job, including manual handling tasks involving lifting up to 16kg.
