About This Job

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Site Worker to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of various projects.

This position involves working closely with tradespeople to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for reporting to job sites on time, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to established protocols.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist tradesmen in their tasks, providing support as needed.
  • Ensure timely arrival at the job site, establishing a strong sense of punctuality and reliability.
  • Work safely and efficiently, following guidelines and best practices to minimize risks.
  • Exercise discretion within your skill and training limits, making informed decisions when necessary.
  • Identify and report basic faults in materials and equipment, contributing to overall quality control.
  • Communicate essential information effectively, fostering open collaboration with colleagues and management.
  • Maintain harmony with employees of other companies on-site, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Possess 1 year of experience in construction labouring, with a proven track record of success.
  • Hold a White Card (mandatory) and have authorization to work in Australia.
  • Be willing to commute or relocate to Wollongong NSW before starting work.
