We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom and Learning Support Specialist to join our team at St John Paul College. As a key member of our staff, you will provide high-quality support to students with special needs, ensuring they receive the best possible education.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement programs and document progress for individual and small group support
- Provide assistance to students with special needs, including those on the autistic spectrum
- Support students with diagnosed allergies and be trained in the use of EpiPen
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- Comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
- Demonstrate a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
