Executive Financial Lines Underwriter

As a senior underwriter, you will be responsible for managing and growing a book of business aligned with the team's strategic focus. This will involve developing a profitable financial lines business, establishing and expanding broker and customer relationships, and working closely with the claims team to create a positive customer experience.
Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of financial lines business, building strong relationships with brokers and customers, and making sound underwriting decisions. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and making quick decisions while maintaining underwriting integrity.
The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of financial lines underwriting experience, solid underwriting fundamentals, and demonstrated understanding of financial analysis and markets. Existing broker and customer relationships or ability to develop strong relationships quickly is also highly desirable.
