Job Overview

This position offers an exciting opportunity to support the Fuel & Logistics teams in delivering high-quality results and driving positive impact on commercial and financial fuel portfolio performance.

  • Accurate data management is crucial for this role, ensuring that coal and diesel fuel delivery and consumption records are available for corporate accounting and reporting purposes.
  • The incumbent will assist with managing data within fuel inventory management systems, including Aligne, J5, and various spreadsheets related to fuel and transport.
  • Effective laboratory record-keeping of coal sampling analyses is essential for product quality comparisons against contracts.
  • Following up on irregular sampling results or weights with relevant stakeholders is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Providing timely updates to internal stakeholders on diesel fuel deliveries as required.
  • Identifying discrepancies in fuel delivery records and resolving them with suppliers.
  • Processing purchase orders and completing service entries within Fiori/S4HANA as needed.
  • Ensuring accurate data entry in the fuel accounting system, Aligne, for reconciliation at end-of-month.
  • Maintaining comprehensive fuel records for auditing and legislative requirements.
  • Contribution to the collation and presentation of portfolio information to key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate weigher readings and other source data for coal and diesel fuel delivery and consumption records.
  • Assist in managing data within AGL's fuel inventory management systems.
  • Record laboratory coal sampling analyses for product quality comparisons.
  • Follow up on irregular sampling results or weights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Advise internal stakeholders of diesel fuel deliveries as required.
  • Identify discrepancies in fuel delivery records and resolve with suppliers.
  • Process POs and complete service entries within Fiori/S4HANA.
  • Enter accurate data in the fuel accounting system, Aligne, for reconciliation at end-of-month.
  • Keep comprehensive fuel records for auditing and legislative requirements.
  • Collate and present portfolio information to key stakeholders.
