Maintenance Planning Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Amberley. As a Maintenance Planner, you will support the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for Defence assets.

  • Use the Commonwealth SAP S4/HANA System to plan and manage approved maintenance programs and Work Orders within work groups.
  • Conduct maintenance work planning in line with the fleet maintenance planning directions issued by the Senior Regional Planner.
  • Identify maintenance tasks, parts and resources required.
  • Source parts via internal and external means.
  • Provide feedback to personnel on the progress of scheduled maintenance programs.
  • Liaise with the Scheduling team to effectively Plan maintenance around priorities and planned completion dates.
  • Liaise with the Scheduling team to effect changes in scheduling to meet customer requirements.

About You

You might already be working in maintenance planning or scheduling, or perhaps you're a hands-on tradesperson ready to move into a planning role – either way, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Requirements:

  • A trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or similar)
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems – or a willingness to learn
