About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Level 3 Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing psychosocial assessments and complex discharge planning for patients in our oncology wards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Social Work, with current or eligible AASW registration. You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for patients
  • Lead complex discharge planning initiatives
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients, families, and carers

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work
  • Current or eligible AASW registration
  • Strong skills in discharge planning and assessments
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (including booster)
