About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Duty Manager to lead our team at Breakers Country Club, a premier venue located in Wamberal, NSW. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the venue to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Food Act, RSA, RCG, HACCP, and Gaming Regulations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Open and close the Club, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Continuously improve service delivery by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Manage customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Supervise employees, including training and development, and oversee employee performance.
  • Ensure rostered shifts are covered each day/week using the Club's roster system TANDA.
  • Assist with compliance requirements by accurately updating reports in Risk Manager.
About You
  • Previous experience leading daily operations in a similar role.
  • Experience in overseeing a range of functions, including gaming, bars, restaurants, and reception.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills that motivate and energize teams.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance.
  • Computer literacy essential.
  • Current certification for NSW RSA, RCG, Provide First Aid, and Advanced Resuscitation (or willingness to obtain).
  • Applicable tertiary qualifications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
