The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our Interregional Transport fleet at Visy Logistics in Auckland. This is a permanent full-time role working Monday – Friday across both Day and Night shifts, based out of our site in Wiri.
As a Class 5 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and successful collection and delivery of goods from both internal and external customers across the regions. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining a professional image on the road and with customers.
- Operating a modern fleet of class 5 vehicles.
- Ensuring load is fully compliant with legal requirements and quality standards.
- Complying with all Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility policies and regulations.
- Following Standard Work Practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A clean and valid Class 5 truck licence.
- A minimum of two years experience operating Class 5 is essential and B-train experience is highly desirable.
- Pride in the presentation and operation of trucks and equipment.
- A strong commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
