Job Description:

As an experienced Auditor, you will be responsible for managing audit engagements from planning through to completion and reporting. You will also prepare audit work papers and document findings across complex audit areas, identify and resolve technical accounting and audit issues, review financial statements for compliance with Accounting Standards, lead and mentor team members across multiple engagements, and ensure audit methodology compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage audit engagements from planning through to completion and reporting
  • Prepare audit work papers and document findings across complex audit areas
  • Identify and resolve technical accounting and audit issues
  • Review financial statements for compliance with Accounting Standards
  • Lead and mentor team members across multiple engagements
  • Ensure audit methodology compliance
Qualifications:
  • Has 2.5+ years of audit experience, ideally with exposure to a range of industries
  • Has experience acting as in-charge (AIC) and supervising junior team members
  • Is CAANZ qualified (or close to completion)
  • Possesses strong technical knowledge of Australian or International Auditing Standards and the Australian Corporations Act
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with clients and colleagues
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and contributes to a positive culture
  • Has a curious mindset and enjoys solving problems
  • Is passionate about delivering exceptional client service and adding value
