As a Staff Quality Engineer, you will provide advice, guidance, and expertise in embedding quality engineering, automation testing, reliability, and observability into the design and build of software. You will also collaborate with engineering peers on solving problems and realizing opportunities, and engage stakeholders to understand their current state of maturity and design tailored solutions to accelerate towards a true DevSecOps model within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership in Quality Engineering and drive the adoption of shift left practices across the organisation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement quality engineering solutions, including automation testing, reliability, and observability
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their quality engineering needs and design tailored solutions to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain quality engineering processes and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organisation
- Proven experience in Quality Engineering, with a strong understanding of automation testing, reliability, and observability
- Experience working in a full cycle engineering environment, with a passion for driving quality engineering throughout the software lifecycle
- Strong technical skills, including experience with full stack technologies, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelining
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
