Lead Electrical Engineer Job Description

Our team is growing, and we're recruiting for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Brisbane office.

  • Design and develop preliminary and detailed Electrical and Instrumentation designs for HV, LV and ELV power distribution systems.
  • Prepare design documentation including equipment specifications, data sheets, operation and maintenance manuals, tender documents, cost estimates, hours to complete estimates and project schedules.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment and services supply packages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering (RPEQ required)
  • Hexagon Smartplant Experience highly valued
  • Significant electrical and instrumentation design experience essential
  • Study, FEED and Detailed Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering
  • Previous Project Lead Experience on large Capital Mining projects required
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
