Commercial Cleaning Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled commercial cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. As a commercial cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various areas within the school site.

Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning floors, walls, and other surfaces
  • Vacuuming carpeted areas
  • Sweeping uncarpeted areas
  • Emptying and cleaning bins
  • Spot cleaning of spillages
  • Cleaning desks, seats, and skirting boards
  • Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries
  • Cleaning doors and windows

You will also be required to check stock levels of cleaning materials and report any defects or hazards to the relevant authorities.

The successful candidate will have a reasonable level of fitness, be punctual and reliable, and have excellent time management skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team and have awareness of health and safety procedures.

Additional requirements include:

  • Able to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work both alone and in a team
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Reading skills for following instructions
  • MUST be Double Vaccinated
  • MUST have a current Police Check
  • MUST have a current Working With Children Check

This is a part-time role with 20 hours per week. The salary for this position is $26.17 per hour.
