Our team is responsible for powering the global gaming ecosystem with high-level platforms like Cloud, Commerce, Data and AI, Gameplay Services, Identity and Social. We provide reusable capabilities that game teams can easily integrate into their work to focus on creating engaging games and meaningful relationships with players. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to building the backend services and data infrastructure that powers this platform.

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer I who will report to the Director of Engineering and contribute to developing and maintaining our backend services and data infrastructure. The successful candidate will have experience in professional backend/data pipeline development and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python or C#.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1+ years of professional backend/data pipeline experience (including internships)
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases
  • Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Understanding of basic data modeling

Responsibilities:

  • Build backend APIs/services
  • Design and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Develop and maintain data models/schemas for storage (relational, NoSQL)
  • Integrate backend services with other systems

Qualifications:

  • Professional backend/data pipeline development experience
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases
  • Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Understanding of basic data modeling
