Principal Advisor - Technology Procurement

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Principal Advisor to lead the strategic engagement of Global Process Owners and Product Group digital leads, driving value through demand planning, prioritisation and optimal technology procurement solutions.

This permanent leadership role within the Technology Procurement team will be responsible for delivering measurable value through technology procurement expertise, senior leadership influencing skills, innovative mindset and establishing trusted relationships with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders to influence and manage a broad portfolio of work. A passion for digital innovation, transformation and ability to speak the language of today's technology landscape is essential.

  1. Represent the Technology Procurement leadership team as you engage with the digital leaders across the Operational teams;
  2. Stay current on key enterprise solutions and innovations as they apply to Operations (e.g. Asset Management, E2E Value Chain, Mining Processes, Digital Twins, Automation etc);
  3. Build and manage effective relationships with internal stakeholders;
  4. Work with business partners, Global Process Owners, digital leads, IS&T and other key stakeholders to mature the demand management process and priorities of the Operational Domains and Product Groups;
  5. Agree success criteria and value to support prioritisation of work and strategy;
  6. Collaborate effectively with Global Technology Category leads to support key initiatives;
  7. Provide commercial leadership and guidance to relevant stakeholder teams;
  8. Work effectively in a global team;
  9. Provide leadership support to implement continuous improvement initiatives as they relate to Operations and technology.
