About the Role:

Rottnest Express is seeking a skilled Tour Driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently between various locations throughout the Perth Metropolitan area and Rottnest Island.

This position requires a high level of customer service and friendly disposition, as you will be in direct contact with customers on a daily basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Operate buses to transport passengers from specified locations to Rottnest Express ferry terminals in accordance with time schedules and routes.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, meeting and greeting passengers, attending to their needs, and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  3. Inform passengers about Rottnest Express ferry services, products, and services.
  4. Assist passengers with loading/unloading baggage and collecting tickets.
  5. Complete logs and reports when necessary, reporting defects, accidents, or violations.
  6. Maintain and refuel vehicles after tours.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Bus Driver, with tour company experience being desirable.
  • A valid passenger transport driver (PTD) authorization license.
  • A minimum Medium Rigid (MR) license.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A sound driving record with no recent driving violations.
  • A general knowledge of the Perth CBD and metropolitan area is advantageous.
  • The ability to adapt to unexpected situations, such as traffic and weather conditions.
