About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payment of outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of customer data, including credit terms and limits;
  • Collect outstanding monies from customers in a courteous and efficient manner;
  • Resolve customer account enquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner;
  • Apply and review customer credit terms and insurance cover as required;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers regarding account information and invoicing;
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of recorded data;
  • Provide high-level customer service and resolve issues effectively;
  • Reconcile customer accounts as required;
  • Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently;
About You
  • You bring experience in administration, ideally within freight forwarding or logistics, and have a knack for handling multiple tasks efficiently;
  • You are detail-oriented and accurate, confident in managing data, accounts, and paperwork;
  • You excel in providing courteous, timely support and can resolve account issues effectively;
  • You are team-oriented, eager to cross-train and assist colleagues, ensuring smooth operations within the Finance team;

The estimated salary for this role is AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
