Key Responsibilities
  • Product Management & Delivery
    • Develop and execute the product vision and strategy for the Pre-Payroll product team.
    • Drive product discovery and prioritize features and initiatives on the roadmap.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.
    • Monitor and adapt the product vision and roadmap as constraints are identified.
  • Backlog Management
    • Apply a strategic mindset to user story prioritization and delivery.
    • Maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories.
    • Balance business goals, stakeholder expectations, and customer desirability with what can feasibly be delivered.
    • Represent the customer and business in decision-making prioritization during release and sprint planning.
  • Collaboration and Team Management
    • Collaborate with designers and product leadership to plan, undertake, and input results of testing and performance measurement into future release and roadmap planning.
    • Collaborate with developers to ensure the product vision and designed solutions are feasible and viable.
    • Work with sales and marketing to develop launch collateral and educate customers and prospects about the product vision.
    • Collaborate with professional services and support teams to create rollout and implementation plans for existing customers.
  • Communication
    • Clearly explain ideas, issues, or project status to key stakeholders and the wider organization.
    • Ensure product requirements are gathered accurately and communicated transparently to the product squad.
    • Host, conduct, and articulate presentations to the whole organization, including C-level executives, corporate partners, and external customers.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Business Systems, IT, or Engineering disciplines preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and strategy, with a proven record of successfully launching products.
  • 3+ years of experience working with software development teams using agile methodologies (Scrum preferred).
  • Innovative thinking with a passion for problem-solving and user-centric design.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment, motivation, and coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a goal to be data-informed and metrics-oriented.
  • Self-driven and able to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and uncertain situations.
  • Ability to write well-defined specifications to clearly communicate expected product outcomes.
  • Track record of critically analyzing data samples and producing sensible insights to fuel product initiatives.
  • Able to challenge expectations and question the status quo on a day-to-day basis.
  • Hungry, creative, enthusiastic, and data-driven with a diverse skill set.
  • Experience validating ideas and generating user feedback through different customer research methodologies.
  • Proven commercial acumen with the ability to build financial models and execute on business drivers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HR and/or payroll software.
  • Knowledge of how global leave management is administered.
  • International product experience.
