Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Transport Officer to join our team in Warrnambool, Victoria. As a vital member of our Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) service, you will provide high-quality patient care and transport services to individuals in need.

About the Role
  • Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Provide expert patient care and treatment during on-road transport, adhering to RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, stakeholders, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Assess the effectiveness of interventions, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum qualification of Cert III in Non-emergency Patient Transport or equivalent.
  • Experience working in the NEPT sector is desirable but not essential.
  • A FULL Victorian Driver's license and a satisfactory driving history report.
  • Availability to work shifts across 7 days, including weekends and public holidays.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as generous penalties and overtime allowances. Mandatory Vaccinations

All applicants will be required to provide evidence of up-to-date vaccinations, including Hepatitis B, Chicken Pox, Measles, Mumps, and Rubella, Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis, Annual Influenza, and COVID-19 (2 vaccinations + booster).
